Steps to Getting Your Social Media Account URL with Mobile Phone

The idea of trying to get URL from social media apps on your mobile phone can be frustrating if you don't know how to go about it.

The followings are the simple steps to getting the protocol identifier/URL
of your social media accounts via a mobile phone.

Step 1

  • Don't use social media app to do the search.
  • Make use of a web browser on your phone. Google Chrome preferably.

Step 2

  • Sign into your social media account using google chrome browser and you should see the URL displayed on the address bar above.
  • But, if the URL is just addressing the app (https://facebook.com/) and not your account i.e. your account name (https://facebook.youraccountname.com) is not included. Then, try doing the following:

Step 3

  • On the top right corner of your mobile phone, tap on the three little circles on a straight line or on top of each other and scroll to select "Desktop Site."
  • Click on your profile, profile picture or the image icon such as the image icon at the bottom right corner on Instagram app.
  • It's advisable you rotate your phone screen to view (as  the act will help to stretch the length of the URL on the address bar of the browser), if your account name has been included, then copy.

This pattern works for all social media.

Do ensure to use data when using facebook and not free mode.
